Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the PikaGo app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by ochotona-studio (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as an ad-supported service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application is designed to show real-time bus and subway arrival information for routes, stops, and stations selected by the user.

The Application does not require account registration or login. The Service Provider does not collect or store user account information on its own servers.

The Application may process the following information to provide its core features:

• Favorite bus stops, subway stations, routes, and widget display preferences selected by the user
• Transit search or arrival request information needed to display bus and subway arrival times
• Basic app usage and device information collected by third-party advertising services

Favorite routes and widget settings are stored on the user’s device. They are used to display arrival information in the Application and widgets.

Location Information

The Application does not require precise real-time location access for its core favorite-based arrival display. If location-based features are added in the future, the Application will request the user’s permission before accessing device location.

Advertising

The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process information such as Advertising ID, device information, approximate location, IP address, ad interactions, and app usage data in accordance with Google’s policies.

Third-Party Transit Data

The Application may request real-time bus or subway arrival information from public transit data providers. These requests are used only to retrieve arrival information for the stop, station, or route selected by the user.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider does not operate a user account server for the Application. Favorites and widget settings are stored locally on the user’s device and may be removed by deleting the data in the Application or uninstalling the Application.

Information processed by third-party services such as AdMob is retained according to their own privacy policies.

Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If it is discovered that such information has been provided, it will be deleted as soon as possible.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding user information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
