These terms and conditions apply to the PikaGo app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by ochotona-studio (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as an ad-supported service.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the Application.

Application Purpose

PikaGo provides a simple way to check bus and subway arrival information for routes, stops, and stations selected by the user. The Application is intended for quick reference and convenience.

Transit Information

The Application displays arrival information based on data provided by public transit data providers and related public APIs. The Service Provider strives to show useful and timely information, but arrival times, operating status, schedules, delays, and route information may be inaccurate, delayed, changed, or unavailable.

You should not rely solely on the Application for time-critical travel decisions. Please check official transit announcements, station displays, or transport operator notices when necessary.

Favorites and Widgets

The Application allows users to save favorite bus stops, subway stations, routes, and widget display preferences. These settings are provided for convenience and may be reset or removed if the Application data is deleted, the device is changed, or the Application is uninstalled.

Advertising

The Application displays advertisements through third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob. These services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

The Application utilizes the following third-party service:

Connectivity and Data Usage

The Application requires an Internet connection to retrieve real-time bus and subway arrival information and to display advertisements. The Service Provider is not responsible for any mobile data charges, network fees, or limited functionality caused by unavailable or unstable network access.

Intellectual Property Rights

Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, reverse engineering, or extraction of the Application’s source code is prohibited. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider or their respective owners.

Service Changes

The Service Provider may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Application at any time. Features may change as public transit data availability, operating policies, or platform requirements change.

Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided “AS IS”. The Service Provider is not liable for direct or indirect damages, missed transportation, delays, losses, or inconvenience resulting from reliance on arrival information, widget information, advertisements, data provider errors, or network issues.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may update the Application to improve functionality, maintain compatibility, or comply with platform requirements. You agree to accept updates when offered. The Service Provider may stop providing the Application at any time without prior notice.

Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly for any changes.
