Privacy Policy - HayDo

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the HayDo (헤이두) mobile application (the “Application”) provided by Ochotona Studio (the “Service Provider”). HayDo helps users manage to-dos, schedules, home widgets, and lock screen backgrounds.

Information Collection and Use

The Application may process the following information to provide its features:

  • Account linking information, such as account email address, user identifier (UID), and login provider, when the user links an account
  • To-do tasks, schedules, categories, subtasks, reminder settings, and app preferences created or selected by the user
  • Device and app information required to operate the Application and display advertisements
  • Local calendar information, only when the user grants calendar permission
  • Background photos selected by the user, only when the user chooses to use a custom background

Local Calendar Access

HayDo may request read-only access to the device calendar so that calendar schedules can be shown inside the Application, on home screen widgets, on lock screen backgrounds, and through automatic refresh features.

When calendar access is granted, the Application may read:

  • Calendar name and calendar account name
  • Event title
  • Event description
  • Event location
  • Event start and end time

Calendar information is processed locally on the user’s device for display and refresh purposes. The Application does not create, edit, or delete calendar events through this permission.

Calendar information read from the device is not transmitted to Firebase, HayDo servers, or the Service Provider’s servers.

Please note that event titles or schedule information may be visible on the home screen or lock screen when the user enables widgets or lock screen background features. Users should avoid enabling these features if they do not want schedule information to be visible to other people who can see the device screen.

Background Photos

When the user selects a background photo, the Application copies the selected image to the Application’s app-specific storage so it can be used as an app background, widget background, or lock screen background.

User-selected background photos are stored locally on the device and are not transmitted to Firebase, HayDo servers, or the Service Provider’s servers.

Advertising

The Application may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process information such as Advertising ID, IP address, device information, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions, and app usage data in accordance with Google’s policies.

The Application utilizes the following third-party service:

The Application does not currently use Google Analytics for Firebase or Firebase Crashlytics for analytics or crash reporting.

Location Information

The Application does not request precise device location permission for its core features. Approximate location information may be processed by AdMob as part of advertising operations according to Google’s policies.

User Controls

Users can control their information in the following ways:

  • Calendar permission withdrawal: Users can revoke calendar permission in the device settings. After permission is revoked, HayDo will no longer read device calendar information, and calendar-based displays may stop updating or become unavailable.
  • Background photo replacement: Users can replace the selected background photo in the Application. The new photo copy replaces the previous app-stored background used by HayDo.
  • Background photo removal: Users can remove or reset the selected background from the Application where this option is provided. The app-stored background copy is removed or no longer used by HayDo.
  • Lock screen background release: Users can disable the lock screen background feature in the Application or replace the lock screen background through device settings. If the operating system keeps a previously applied image, the user may need to select another lock screen background in the device settings.
  • Application deletion: Uninstalling the Application removes locally stored app data, including local preferences and background photo copies stored in the Application’s app-specific storage, subject to the device operating system’s normal uninstall behavior.

Data Retention Policy

Locally stored information, including app preferences, cached display data, and app-specific background photo copies, remains on the device until the user deletes it, changes the related setting, clears app data, or uninstalls the Application.

Account-related information and user-created HayDo data associated with an account may be retained while the account is active. Users may request account and data deletion through the HayDo Account & Data Deletion page or by contacting by.ochotona@gmail.com.

Information processed by third-party services such as AdMob is retained according to their own privacy policies.

Third-Party Access

The Service Provider does not sell calendar information or user-selected background photos to third parties. Calendar information and user-selected background photos are not sent to Firebase, HayDo servers, or the Service Provider’s servers.

Information may be disclosed only in the following limited cases:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process
  • When the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
  • To third-party services such as AdMob only as needed for advertising operations under their own privacy policies

Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If it is discovered that such information has been provided, it will be deleted as soon as possible.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding user information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Users are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.

본 개인정보처리방침은 Ochotona Studio(이하 “서비스 제공자”)가 제공하는 모바일 애플리케이션 HayDo (헤이두)(이하 “애플리케이션”)에 적용됩니다. HayDo는 할 일, 일정, 홈 화면 위젯, 잠금화면 배경을 관리할 수 있도록 돕는 앱입니다.

수집 및 이용하는 정보

애플리케이션은 기능 제공을 위해 다음 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

  • 사용자가 계정을 연동하는 경우 계정 이메일 주소, 사용자 식별자(UID), 로그인 제공자 등 계정 연동 정보
  • 사용자가 생성하거나 선택한 할 일, 일정, 카테고리, 하위 할 일, 알림 설정, 앱 환경설정
  • 애플리케이션 운영 및 광고 표시를 위해 필요한 기기 및 앱 정보
  • 사용자가 캘린더 권한을 허용한 경우 기기 캘린더 정보
  • 사용자가 직접 선택한 배경 사진

기기 캘린더 접근

HayDo는 애플리케이션, 홈 화면 위젯, 잠금화면 배경, 자동 갱신 기능에서 일정을 표시하기 위해 기기 캘린더에 대한 읽기 전용 접근 권한을 요청할 수 있습니다.

캘린더 권한이 허용된 경우 애플리케이션은 다음 정보를 읽을 수 있습니다.

  • 캘린더명 및 캘린더 계정명
  • 일정 제목
  • 일정 설명
  • 일정 장소
  • 일정 시작 및 종료 시간

캘린더 정보는 사용자의 기기 안에서 표시 및 자동 갱신 목적으로만 처리됩니다. 애플리케이션은 이 권한을 통해 캘린더 일정을 생성, 수정, 삭제하지 않습니다.

기기에서 읽은 캘린더 정보는 Firebase, HayDo 서버 또는 서비스 제공자의 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.

사용자가 홈 화면 위젯 또는 잠금화면 배경 기능을 활성화하면 일정 제목이나 일정 정보가 홈 화면 또는 잠금화면에 노출될 수 있습니다. 다른 사람이 기기 화면을 볼 수 있는 상황에서 일정 정보 노출을 원하지 않는 경우 해당 기능을 사용하지 않거나 설정을 변경해 주세요.

배경 사진

사용자가 배경 사진을 선택하면 애플리케이션은 해당 이미지를 앱 배경, 위젯 배경 또는 잠금화면 배경으로 사용하기 위해 애플리케이션 전용 저장소에 복사합니다.

사용자가 선택한 배경 사진은 기기 안에 로컬로 저장되며 Firebase, HayDo 서버 또는 서비스 제공자의 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.

광고

애플리케이션은 광고 표시를 위해 Google AdMob을 사용할 수 있습니다. AdMob은 Google 정책에 따라 광고 ID, IP 주소, 기기 정보, 네트워크 정보에서 파생된 대략적인 위치, 광고 상호작용, 앱 사용 데이터 등을 수집 및 처리할 수 있습니다.

애플리케이션에서 사용하는 제3자 서비스는 다음과 같습니다.

애플리케이션은 현재 분석 또는 오류 보고 목적으로 Google Analytics for Firebase 및 Firebase Crashlytics를 사용하지 않습니다.

위치 정보

애플리케이션은 핵심 기능 제공을 위해 정밀한 기기 위치 권한을 요청하지 않습니다. 단, AdMob은 광고 운영 과정에서 Google 정책에 따라 네트워크 정보 기반의 대략적인 위치 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

사용자의 제어 방법

사용자는 다음 방법으로 정보 처리를 제어할 수 있습니다.

  • 캘린더 권한 철회: 기기 설정에서 캘린더 권한을 철회할 수 있습니다. 권한 철회 후 HayDo는 기기 캘린더 정보를 더 이상 읽지 않으며, 캘린더 기반 표시 기능은 갱신되지 않거나 사용할 수 없게 될 수 있습니다.
  • 배경 사진 교체: 애플리케이션에서 배경 사진을 교체할 수 있습니다. 새 사진이 HayDo에서 사용하는 기존 앱 저장 배경 사진을 대체합니다.
  • 배경 사진 삭제: 애플리케이션에서 제공되는 경우 선택한 배경을 삭제하거나 초기화할 수 있습니다. 이 경우 앱 전용 저장소의 배경 사진 복사본은 삭제되거나 HayDo에서 더 이상 사용되지 않습니다.
  • 잠금화면 배경 해제: 애플리케이션에서 잠금화면 배경 기능을 비활성화하거나 기기 설정에서 잠금화면 배경을 변경할 수 있습니다. 운영체제가 이전에 적용된 이미지를 유지하는 경우, 기기 설정에서 다른 잠금화면 배경을 선택해야 할 수 있습니다.
  • 앱 삭제: 애플리케이션을 삭제하면 앱 전용 저장소에 저장된 로컬 환경설정 및 배경 사진 복사본 등 로컬 앱 데이터가 운영체제의 일반적인 삭제 동작에 따라 제거됩니다.

데이터 보관 정책

앱 환경설정, 캐시된 표시 데이터, 앱 전용 저장소에 복사된 배경 사진 등 로컬 저장 정보는 사용자가 삭제하거나 관련 설정을 변경하거나, 앱 데이터를 지우거나, 애플리케이션을 삭제할 때까지 기기에 보관됩니다.

계정과 연결된 HayDo 데이터는 계정이 활성 상태인 동안 보관될 수 있습니다. 계정 및 데이터 삭제를 원하는 사용자는 HayDo 계정 및 데이터 삭제 요청 페이지를 이용하거나 by.ochotona@gmail.com으로 문의할 수 있습니다.

AdMob과 같은 제3자 서비스가 처리하는 정보는 해당 서비스의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 보관됩니다.

제3자 접근

서비스 제공자는 캘린더 정보 또는 사용자가 선택한 배경 사진을 제3자에게 판매하지 않습니다. 캘린더 정보와 사용자가 선택한 배경 사진은 Firebase, HayDo 서버 또는 서비스 제공자의 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.

정보는 다음과 같은 제한적인 경우에만 공개될 수 있습니다.

  • 소환장 또는 이와 유사한 법적 절차 준수를 위해 법적으로 요구되는 경우
  • 권리 보호, 귀하 또는 타인의 안전 보호, 사기 조사 또는 정부 요청 대응을 위해 공개가 필요하다고 선의로 판단되는 경우
  • 광고 운영에 필요한 범위에서 AdMob과 같은 제3자 서비스가 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 정보를 처리하는 경우

아동 개인정보 보호

애플리케이션은 만 13세 미만의 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 서비스 제공자는 만 13세 미만 아동의 개인 식별 정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 해당 정보가 제공된 사실을 알게 되는 경우 가능한 한 빨리 삭제합니다.

보안

서비스 제공자는 사용자 정보 보호를 중요하게 생각합니다. 다만 전자적 저장 또는 인터넷 전송 방식은 100% 안전하다고 보장할 수 없으므로 절대적인 보안을 보장할 수는 없습니다.

변경 사항

본 개인정보처리방침은 수시로 업데이트될 수 있습니다. 사용자는 변경 사항 확인을 위해 본 페이지를 정기적으로 검토하는 것이 좋습니다.
